We talk. She giggles.
It is the beginning all over again.
I can see her smile. There is laughter in her eyes.
I am the band geek dating the head cheerleader.
No sex is necessary. This is the most intense relationship I have ever had.

New Beginnings

I called and asked if she was free for lunch. She said yes.
Like a high school freshman approaching a cheer leader I picked her up. We went to lunch. It was almost a first date. There was no sexual tension and no games. Just two friends having lunch.
Maybe next time I will hold her hand…………………….
This is going to be interesting. We will be together one way or another. As long as she is in my life, I do not care about the conditions.
